I would chose a bowl. Jessica suggested a "plowl" or a "blate", just choose which one makes the most sense to you..... and of course this would combine the functions of both a plate and a bowl at the same time, reducing the need to choose. She is so smart sometimes.
Bowl. Lots of things that don't work on a plate do work in a bowl.
